Hi Champs,
I also refer this previous thread to confirm default clock tool value information based on previous e2e thread.
So, I tried to get default clock tree setting as bellow. However, it didn't work. I used industrial IDK.
Could you please tell us this advice or if you have another idea to confirm it , please let us know.
Regards,
Kaz

Hello,
I am working on Vision SDK 3.06 and REL.TIDL.01.01.03.00, and attempting the workflow described in the E2E thread https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/t/735984.
The final step in the thread requires test of the model by running the inference in host emulation.
For this, I followed section 3.5 of the TIDL Library User Guide. Specifically, as per section 3.5.2, I executed the following command:
D:\REL.TIDL.01.01.03.00\modules\ti_dl\test>gmake CORE=eve TARGET_BUILD=debug TARGET_PLATFORM=PC all
but I received the following error message:
LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file '../../ti_dl/lib/PC/eve/debug/tidl_algo.lib' gmake: *** [outfile] Error 1104
Kindly note that I have satisfied all other pre-requisites mentioned in section 3.5.
I can see the following files, but I think they are applicable for execution on the target:
../../ti_dl/lib/dsp/debug/tidl_algo.lib
../../ti_dl/lib/dsp/release/tidl_algo.lib
../../ti_dl/lib/eve/debug/tidl_algo.lib
../../ti_dl/lib/eve/release/tidl_algo.lib
I searched on E2E, but I did not find a relevant solution.
How can I resolve the above linker error and complete my host emulation build?
Thank you.
Thanks Hari,
Do we have any instructions to compile it by adding the debug logs ? Could you please share the instructions if you have any ?

Kiran

Hii,
What is the maximum data size that we can transfer using MCSPI in AM5718 processor ?
We are accessing ARINC429 through MCSPI1(drivers). In which we need to access 5bytes(1byte opcode + 4 bytes data) to read a FIFO.
We need CS to be active for 5bytes continuously.
How can I do this ?
NOTE : We have tried with 8bit data size , but it does not work.
Thanks and Regards

Hi,
I'am using TI AM5728 IDK, P/N: 296-46780-ND kit with Linux SDK ver:05.03.00.07(i.e ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.03.00.07-Linux-x86-Install.bin).
I want to build the SDK for NOR image.
1. How to enable the NOR build
2. where to specify the NOR Flash Image Layout. It should have sections like: Uboot, Kernel, RootFs, Application.
3. How to define the flash section for Application in the NOR.
4.Which linker scatter file I've to update for sections.
5. please specify the location of static libraries, .so files, .KO(kernel objects), exe files. simple example Makefile.
Thanks and Regards

Team,
Could you please help answer the following question.
while reading the PDK TDA Release notes I saw the following under “Known Limitations” (see: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/PDK/PDK_TDA_Release_Notes):
“CAL/ISS Driver
Do you have further information on this?
I couldn’t find a detailed explanation on this known limitation. It was added to Known Issues in PDK release 1.09.00 and added to known limitations with release 1.10.00.
If you have further information on this, my follow up questions are:
Thanks,

When I do this operation : power off (or unplug)LTE module when usb devices using, the kernel enter stop status. ttyO0 Console and networing stop , have no response , kernel heartbeat led stop flashing. Also dmesg don't print any more info about this errors.
But, in this status, I unplug TUSB4041 form AM3352 USB1, the kernel return to normal working immediately, heartbeat led start flashing. ttyO0 Console and networing return to work fine.dmesg also print usb disconnect info now.

On this issue, I did two additional tests:
1)AM3352 + TUSB4041 + LTE module , Before power off the module , i do two steps:
1.dhcpcd -k usb0
2.close all opened ttyUSB device
After this operations, I power off the module, the kernel don't enter stop , eveything working fine, dmesg print usb disconnect info immediately:

2)AM3352 + LTE module , I connect LTE module direct to AM3352 USB1 with no usb hub,at this time, When USB devices working,I power off (or unplug)LTE module , kernel still working fine, don't enter stop , eveything working fine, dmesg print usb disconnect info immediately.
PS.I did all tests on PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AM335X 06_00_00_07 , 05.03.00.07, 04.03.00.05, the same problem happened.
So, after doing these tests, My question is this a kernel driver bug, how can i fix it?

Hi,
I am having AM5718IDK and TLV320AIC3104EVM-k alongwith USB MODEVM Motherboard connected to it.
I want to connect J7 (USB Type B Slave Connector) of USB MODEVM Motherboard with J23 (USB Standard A-Type Connector) of AM5718IDK.
How to cofigure the TLV320AIC3104EVM-k codec card through USB connector and how to read the codec output data in AM5718. Kindly provide the startup application or example application.

Hello,
As mentioned in the latest DM8168 datasheet, DM8168(CYG2) cpu devices speed range is as below :
ARM:1100MHz , DSP:930MHz , HDVICP2:550MHz , SGX530:275MHz ... ... ...
But In my DVRRDK code , ARM_PLL was set to 1.2GHz or 1.0GHz , So we want to set AMR work at the highest speed 1.1GHz.
How to set the paramates in "clocks_ti816x.h" to make A8 work at 1.1GHz ? Is there any tools to caculate these parameters ?

the emif register configuration is shown above(revision 2.0.2)
I fill the value of the generated register into the TDA2Px_set_emif1_params_ddr3_666 function() which in sbl_utils_tda2px_ddr_config.c, then found that the device cannot start properly
so, TI experts, can you tell me how to solve this problem? thanks very much!!
