Heloo,
We are using L138 to interface 256Mbit Nor flash in our design.
Interface is configured as asynchronous and of 16 bit Data width.
We are following the configuration as recommended in "TMS320C674x/OMAP-L1x Processor External Memory Interface A (EMIFA)" User's Guide.
We are using the adress and Data Bus as follows:
L138_EMA_D[0:15] --> NOR_D[0:15]
L138_EMA_BA[1] --> NOR_A[0]
L138_EMA_A[0:22] --> NOR_A[1:23]
In the user guide on Page no: 26 stating that "when the EMIFA interfaces
to a 16-bit asynchronous device, the EMA_BA[0] pin can serve as the upper address line EM_A[22]."
We are using Omap L138 in our design with ZCE Package. this provides EMA_A22 on pin number A10. So my doubt are
1. Which pin will be used as EMA_A22 is it Normal EMA_A22 or EMA_BA0 line?
2. If EMA_BA0 can be used as higher adress line Can I use it as EMA_A23, sothat I can extend my adress space?
