Part Number:OMAPL138B-EP
I hope I posted this question in the correct forum.
I would like to know if the Software Defined Radio (SDR) OMAP-L138-Based Reference Platform can be used to develop a prototype amateur (Ham) HF radio in the 1MHz-30MHz range that performs both receive and transmit functions with single sideband (SSB) modulation and continuous wave (CW)? Also, would additional RF components (mixers, amplifiers, filters, etc.) be required if such a design is possible? The transmit power would be less than 10W. You don't have to specify any components. I am just looking for a yes/no on the possibility. I am a software engineer looking to design an SDR ham radio.
Thank you for your time.
