Problems with U-boot and LAN8720A PHY with the AM1705 processor

Hello Titus and all,

I'm using DaVinci-PSP-SDK-03.22.00.04.

I haven't been able to make U-boot to detect the LAN8720A PHY IC. I'm using an external 50MHz clock gen connected to both the LAN8720A and the AM1705.

1) Can you tell me what changes do I need to do in the source code to make it work? 

2) Do I have to configure the LAN8720A hardware in an specific way (Mode pins and phyadd pin)?
