I have recntly board the OMAPL138 LCDK kit and trying to run few examples to learn about the use of ARM and the DSP cores.
I am familiar with the DSP side of code but not very much with the ARM side of the core. I would appreciate if someone could answer few of my questions.
1) I would like to know what ARM compiler to use to start with, should it be TI 5.2.* or TI v15.12.*
2) Should the Device variant in the CCS general setting be Generic ARM9 device or OMAPL138?
3) I have found an example design for the bootloader in Starterware but it's design with UBL is this the only way to boot?
4) Would it be possible to boot with no UBL from NAND block1 ?

But I was not able to edit it to boot the design and run it in SDRAM in CCS v6.1
