DVDD18 Can Pull Up to 2.7V When Using Dual-Voltage IOs at 3.3V

Hi,

I read in the errata sheet of OMAP L138 C600 that the DVDD18 supply can pull up to 2.7V When Using Dual-voltage IO at 3.3V. My customer use the TPS65070 to power the DSP L138 C6000, the banks DVDD3318_A, B and C are powered by 3V3 voltage and the DVDD18 is powered by 1V8 voltage. My concern is the 1V8 supply used to power the DDR2 memory and in case of 1V8 is pull up to 2.7V there is a risk of destruction of the DDR2 memory.

My questions are:

  1.  Can we have this error if one bank DVDD3318_xis powered with 1V8 and the other banks with 3V3, for example DVDD3318_A powered with1V8 and the other banks B and C are powered with 3V3 ?
  2. Is this error condition, ie, “DVDD18 can Pull Up to 2.7V” appears constantly if the conditions are sufficient?

  3. Is there an occurrence rate of appearance of this error (in the case of advisor 2.3.18 is not applied)? In other words: how often can this error occur in one-year use of the DSP

Regards,

Rachid
