Hi,
I am using McASP port in OMAPL138 to transmit 24-bit data to 2 DACs (PCM1753) on AXR8 and AXR15. I am using CCS Version: 5.4.0.00091, and it is NON-OS development.
I have successfully tested data transmission on both serializers using both CPU polling and CPU interrupt for McASP. I have two issues with McASP.
- As I mentioned McASP works only when it is a stand-alone module. Once I start McBSP communication (Rx only) on EDMA, McASP stops working. I don’t even get McASP interrupts. I have assigned interrupt #4 to McASP and #5 to McBSP EDMA event. I would like McASP interrupt to work with other interrupts.
- For our timing needs I need to use McASP FIFO EDMA transfers. I am sending data on AXR8/15 to two DACs, i.e. 2 channels for each. I have read similar posts on this forum and reproduced the same implementation (that supposedly worked). But for some reason I don’t see any data out of DAC. I am using the same configuration and same data as in Brad/Brian’s post.
These peripherals need to work with SPI and GPIO interrupts as well. Could somebody help me resolve these issues ASAP?
