We have developed our own in house hardware which is based around the OMAP-L138 chip.
We have been using CCS v5 with a modified version of the Spi_Writer.exe to develop our application and write the image.bin file to our target spi flash memory.
We use both the ARM and DSP core with the .out files generated by CCS v5 projects. The ARM core program launches the DSP core program on power up.
We use the AISgen_d800k008.exe utility to generate the image.bin file. This uses the attached config file

We now need to test our application and will be using the sfh_OMAP-L138.exe utility in place of CCS. I assumed we would be able to use the same image file that we have generated and used with SpiWriter.exe. However we see the following
