Linux/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM437X: Writing mac address into eeprom

Hi All,

We have a custom board based on ti-am437x-gpevm. we are working on ti-processor-sdk-linux-rt-am437x-evm-04.02.00.09.  

we are using the same EEPROM being used in  am437x-gp-evm (CAT24C256WI-G)  connected to i2c0 at slave address 0x50.  

I am trying to write MAC address in the EEPROM from the kernel. Any Idea how can I write data to EEPROM ar particular address in EEPROM assigned for mac_addr as per the given link:
