SQLite for AM1808 Linux

Hi 

       I'm working with AM1808 processor i need to integrate SQLite database with my application and need access the DB via C API. 

       Let me know how to compile the SQLite for AM1808 and how to access it from C API.

      If any other DB access from C API other than SQLite kindly suggest me.
