OMAP-L138: DSP6748 application layer, how to receive data via MCBSP peripheral and write into any external memory

Hi,

I’m new to Ti platform. I’m using processor SDK RTOS, EVM OMAPL138, JTAG 560 BP. I want to read data from MCBSP port and write into any external memory. I see the device driver links talks about initialization and Loopback example. Could you please provide some example for reading McBSP peripheral port? Do I need to read the data via EDMA?

Please suggest some examples and related info on this query.
