Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
We're using a custom board with a TMS320C6746 running at 288 MHz.
Code Composer Studio 8.1.0.00011 on Windows, TI Compiler version 8.2.3, XDC tools 3.50.5.12_core, SYS/BIOS 6.70.1.03.
Our hardware generates a signal that is connected to GPIO4_4 and to INT4 in the DSP (yellow trace in the attached scope captures).
When everything is working properly, the HWI is triggered in about 1 microsecond (green trace).
When things go wrong, I see the HWI taking 50 microseconds to trigger (first scope capture), and occasionally the HWI is never triggered (second scope capture).
The purple trace is triggered when any other HWI is my code is active.
Any ideas on why my HWI's are taking a long time to trigger or being missed altogether? HWI's are not disabled in my code after startup.
