TDA2PXEVM: Exception on trying to softreset CPDMA from NSP

Hi,

I am working with an ECU with TDA2p. I have integrated NSP (nsp_gmacsw_4_12_00_00_ksz9031rnx). 

GMACSW_open() in NSP tries to soft reset CPDMA as below:

"CSL_FINS(GMACSW_REGS->CPDMA.CPDMA_SOFT_RESET, GMACSW_CPDMA_SOFT_RESET_SOFT_RESET, CSL_GMACSW_CPDMA_SOFT_RESET_SOFT_RESET_RESET);"

An exception occurs with execution of above line. What can possibly cause an exception upon trying to soft reset CPDMA in TDA2p? 

Any suggestions to debug ?
