OMAP-L137: U-boot prompt does not show in based-OMAPL137 Spectrum Digital EVM

Hello,

I am having trouble writing u-boot back into SPI-FLASH on the digital spectrum OMAP-L137 evaluation module (rev J).  I had successfully flashed a 'hello blinky' into SPI FLASH previously.  

I have tried following the steps in this post, and this post.  When I set it up to boot from SPI flash, my 'hello blinky' still runs.  Yet, .\sfh_OMAP-L137.exe -flash_dsp ...  reports the "operation completed successfully".  When I go through the latter steps in the second post (spi flash loader via emulation), it reports "Reading verifying the file.. Uboot Files matched", then exits.  

I suspect the ais file is no good.  And perhaps something has changed since the date of these posts (5 years ago)...

Can you provide any insight?
