I teach a class using the OMAPL138/C6748 LCDK. From time to time over several years, a problem crops up for a while and then goes away. The conditions under both arrival and disappearance are a mystery; I have never been able to correlate either with anything. Basically, a very simple program that generates a 250-Hz sine wave fails. On the oscilloscope, one can see that the AIC chip outputs a DC voltage, which is eventually blocked by the output coupling capacitor.
Has anyone seen this behavior before?
I show the problem in this video:
Thanks.
