Doubt on c and ccs project

Dear sir,

when i create new project,(please see the attachment),the project comes as CCS,but when i import from the directory "C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\quickStartOMAPL1x_rCSL\OMAPL1x\rCSL_examples\evmOMAPL137\DSP_examples\timer\TIMER_led_blink_frequency_dspL137\build"

it was comming as C.

what is the difference between them....?are both same...?are both works on same compiler version...?
