I understand you can disable START signal and use byte counts per line to figure out when to start a next line, however, it was not clear if uPP receiver will honor the START signal and ignore the byte counts in the DMA when the START signal is asserted before the current line reach expected byte counts?
I have two questions in this scenario where I set up multi-line window with byte counts = line offset = N:
1. Would the uPP receive multiple lines with different sizes (but not exceeding N bytes) correctly using to the START signal?
2. If yes, would the end of line interrupt fire as a new line starts even though previous line was smaller than N bytes?
