Hi, all
I bought OMAP-L138 LCDK a few days ago from TI.
and tested my LCDK, it works fine.
Followings are my work steps.
1. VMware Palyer install on my Win7 labtop & Ubuntu 12.04 Install
2. Arago toolchain install (on VM)
downlaod from http://software-dl.ti.com/sdoemb/sdoemb_public_sw/arago_toolchain/2011_09/index_FDS.html
3. Setup MCSDK (on VM)
download from http://www.ti.com/tool/bioslinuxmcsdk
Rebuild U-Boot, Linux Kernel, extracting root file system comes with MCSDK, NFS booting: MCSDK works fine and very helpful to me.
At this point I just want to know, how to develop DSP side applications...
I'm planning to use SYS/BIOS for C6748 in OMAP-L138.
Should I have CCS on Linux host (VM) for interfacing ARM & DSP using IPC or Syslink?
I already have CCS on Win7 when used to develop TMS320F28x series.
Can I use this CCS on Win7 to develop OMAP-L138?
Please comment what host machine is the general setup for DSP side in OMAP-L138?
Thanks
Regards
Kevin
