Hi,
I apologize if this seems vague, but I'm new to this and trying to learn the correct terminology.
I'm trying to debug an issue I'm having using the slh_OMAP_L138.exe host utility. I am working on a system that uses it as part of a process of loading a bootloader and firmware onto a board that uses an AM1808. We create a .bin file using AISGen. On some computers, the process works flawlessly. On others, even those running the same OS as the ones that work, I always run into an issue downloading the file to the board. The file in question is actually the second .bin file sent through this process, and although the first file is sent successfully 100% of the time, the second file is the one that runs into issues on some systems but not others.
There is a sizeable difference in size between the two files: the problem child is 863KB while the good one is only 8KB. I'm not sure if that's part of my issue.
I'm working with a USB to Serial dongle, and have confirmed that the settings are correct on each of the systems I've tried (115200, 8, N, 1). I've downloaded the latest version of slh_OMAP_L138.exe that I could find (1.65.4058.25190), but still face the same problem.
I've tried this on 32-bit and 64-bit systems, running Windows 7 or Windows 8. I've had successes and failures on all variations, and can't seem to pinpoint the cause of the varied behavior. Does anyone have an idea what I should be checking? Can I provide more information to help determine what's going wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
