Get confused by the Boot mode

Hi!

I'm working with the OMAP-L138 LCDK.

And I have followed the steps in the "OMAPL138 StarterWare Booting And Flashing - Texas Instruments Wiki" to flash and run some samples successfully. Then I found out that in this wiki the NAND boot mode is to set the SW to 0111.

But, in the '3441.L138_LCDK_QSG' which shows a quick start for LCDK ,it boots from the SD card and get Linux message from the serial console. It shows that the SW is also set as 0111.

So I'm a little confused. I used to get the Linux message when I boot form the 0111. But now I'm getting the Starterware boot message instead. So,can you tell me what does the 0111 boot from exactly and how can I get the Linux work again?
