My customer is reading the AM65xx TRM to see if the PRU can accept their own encoder protocol.
We would think that the PRU to count QEP type pulse inputs, and at some moment, the PRU core copys the counter value to an another register, but can we ask your advice?
Q. Is it possible for PRU to count QEP type pulses? I think it is possible because the TRM says the PRU can access all the resources. I would expect it is true for eQEP. Do you agree?

Q. If yes, is it possible to latch the counter value to an another register, with the counter keep counting? I think a timing diagram in TRM SPRUID7D p.9903 shows that is possible. Do you agree?
