We are using an OMAP-L138 in the with the 'A' temperature range (jc=105) in oven tests.
When the oven ambient temperature is at 85 degrees celcius, the board will reach 98 degrees.
What we see is that the OMAP shuts down at 85 ambient - we are using extended temperature DDR2 and XTL components.
The OMAP is clocked at 300 MHz.
The Power Supply lines have been monitored and they do not dip. The power consumption does drop significantly when the OMAP freezes.
Any suggestions ? Is there an over temperature protection feature on OMAP-L138 ?
All the best
Boris.
